Founded in 1992 by Andrew Wiesener, Crownland Developments journey begins with a young graduate and a clear-eyed ambition.
Andrew Wiesener earned a degree in Land Economics, a field that blends property, economics, and planning into a practical toolkit for shaping communities. Andrew has worked with industry leaders, including JLL and AV Jennings—the latter then the largest home builder in Australia.
Under Andrew’s leadership, Crownland has become an industry leader in Western Sydney and is one of the largest privately owned residential development companies in Australia.

Andrew Wiesener
Founder & Principal
Andrew is the Founder, Principal and driving force behind Crownland Developments and has more than 30 years’ experience in real estate investment and property development. Andrew provides the vision and energy behind the success of the company and the foresight in approaching new business opportunities to secure Crownland’s long-term future.
James Stavroulakis
Chief Financial Officer
James is Crownland’s Chief Financial Officer, overseeing the key financial and accounting functions of the Group. His analytical knowledge and experience, provides a seamless integration between the finance division and all other divisions within the Group, and external parties, including solicitors, banks and other key stakeholders. He is a qualified CPA and holds a B.Comm degree with merit, bringing 35 years of experience in accounting and finance to the Group, with the previous 25 years being directly involved in the property development and the construction industry.
Philip Scott
General Manager
Phil is Crownland’s General Manager and has been with the company since 2016. Phil oversees Crownland’s delivery program and manages projects through the planning, urban design and approvals phases. Phil has a strong focus on site feasibility, acquisitions, development approvals and government liaison. Phil has a surveying background with experiences in urban development and infrastructure spanning 30 years.
Chris McClelland
Development Director
Chris is Development Director at Crownland Developments, where he leads a high-performing team delivering residential communities across NSW Growth Centres including Leppington and Austral. Over the past nine years at Crownland, he has overseen the delivery of more than 1,800 residential lots, 100 townhouses and the landmark Leppington Living display village. With 15 years’ experience and an Executive MBA from UNSW AGSM, Chris is passionate about mentoring, collaboration, and building strong partnerships. His background in civil engineering, specialising in urban development, allows him to back his strategic leadership capabilities with strong technical expertise to guide Crownland’s growth and deliver successful project outcomes.
Vince Roccisano
Project Director
Vince is a Project Director at Crownland Developments, having joined the company in 2022. Vince holds a degree in Civil Engineering and possesses extensive experience as a Project Manager within the fragmented development market. He brings a robust technical foundation to the management of large-scale residential and commercial projects, overseeing all phases of the development lifecycle—from initial feasibility assessments to final project registration. Vince is highly skilled in coordinating complex multi-stage projects and engaging effectively with stakeholders to ensure the successful and timely delivery of each project.
Antonio Gerace
Sales & Marketing Manager
Antonio joined Crownland Developments in 2018 and is the Sales & Marketing Manager and driving force behind Crownland’s sales team. Antonio is responsible for implementing Crownland’s sales and marketing program across the business. This includes the retails sales and the wholesale marketing of estates to partner builders. Antonio oversees project launches, new estate product planning, manages sales strategy and planning for all estates including the delivery of key marketing assets.
William Akerboom
Development Manager
William joined Crownland Developments in 2024 as an Assistant Development Manager. His prior experience in the residential subdivision industry as both a consultant and contractor helps drive Crownland's delivery of projects. In his role, William adds to Crownland’s wholistic approach to the supply of quality land products at all phases from design through to delivery.
